Bug reports, feature requests, data corrections — all welcome. We aim to reply within a few days.
When reporting a bug, including your device model, iOS version and what you were doing (for example, which line you were recording) helps us investigate much faster.
FAQFrequently asked questions
Q1My ride wasn't detected correctly+
Detection is an estimate based on GPS fixes, so parts of a ride can occasionally be missed in poor signal conditions. Before confirming a record, you can trim segments that were detected in excess. If a particular line keeps failing, please tell us the line and the segment you rode — it directly helps us improve the detection logic.
Q2What about battery usage?+
The App positions only while recording, and adjusts the frequency to how you are moving. No location is collected when not recording. For very long trips, Low Power Mode works fine alongside recording.
Q3How do I move my log to a new iPhone?+
With Pro's iCloud sync enabled, your log appears on any device signed in to the same Apple account. On the free plan, data is stored on-device only, so use iOS backups (Quick Start or iCloud Backup) when switching devices.
Q4How do I cancel Pro or get a refund?+
Cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are requested through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and are decided by Apple.
Q5The line or station data looks wrong+
Rail data is built from OpenStreetMap and public transport open data (GTFS), so closures, openings and renames can take time to appear. Report specific errors and we'll address them in a data update.
Q6Can I log past rides manually?+
No. Train Net's whole point is that your map is proof of rides you actually took, so manual entries are not planned. Thank you for understanding.
